Meet The Team
Tim Cunningham
Tim has been working in the insurance and real estate industry since 1987 and purchased his first agency from Jerry Huvler, Fredericktown, in 1990. He took over as owner of Cunningham Insurance LTD when he purchased the agency from his father, Wayne, in 2004.
Tim graduated from Mount Vernon High School, attended college at Ohio Northern University and Mount Vernon Nazarene. After college, he coached high school baseball, basketball, and golf for 7 years. His hobbies now include golfing, hunting, and fishing. He is a proud father of 4, grandfather of 4, and resides in Fredericktown with his wife since 1987, Mary (Schonauer).
Ty Calkins
Ty began working in insurance with Cunningham Insurance LTD in February 2016 when his father-in-law and agency owner, Tim, asked him if he was interested in joining the family business and helping it grow. He has been diligently working ever since to do just that.
Ty was born and raised in Mount Vernon, graduating from Mount Vernon High School in 2005 and Ohio Northern University in 2009 with a BSBA in accounting. He has worked as an accountant at a local firm, auto sales, and now the insurance industry. Ty has coached high school basketball since 2015 and is passionate about helping youth sports in the area, serving on multiple boards within the local baseball, football, and basketball leagues. He and his wife Aly and their 3 children, Hudson, Mia, and Ryatt, live in Mount Vernon.
Pam Burdulis
Pam is a personal lines and life insurance producer for Cunningham Insurance LTD, but her most important role is customer service representative since 2012. Prior to working for Cunningham, she had 16 years of experience working at State Farm with her father Rich Bastin in Mount Vernon. She enjoys working with people, especially helping with their insurance needs. Changing to an independent agency allows her the opportunity to provide a good match between our customers and carriers.
Pam graduated from Mount Vernon High School and Akron University. She has lived in Mount Vernon her entire life, now with her husband Scott since 1982. They have 2 sons and 2 granddaughters and our longtime members of Mulberry Church. Her hobbies include working outside, reading, walking, and spending time with family.
Nick Cunningham
Nick is a 3rd generation Cunningham working in the agency. He has been licensed in property and casualty since 2021 and has worked in the agency in some fashion since 2020. After graduating from college in 2024, Nick started full time working in the agency. Helping the agency customers is Nick’s favorite part of the job and he loves talking to them.
Nick graduated from Fredericktown High School in 2019 and Wittenberg University in 2024 with a Master’s in data analytics. Nick grew up playing sports and went on to play baseball at Wittenberg from 2020-2024. He now enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
Jared McPeek
Jared has been an independent insurance agent in Mount Vernon since 2017, serving Knox and surrounding counties. As a dedicated family man, he understands the importance of safeguarding loved ones and preparing for the future. His natural competitiveness fuels his commitment to go the extra mile to ensure the best outcome for the people he serves.
Jared has been a lifelong Knox County resident, living in Mount Vernon for the last 20 years with his wife Ashlie. They have 2 children, Jax and Quinn. He enjoys golf, traveling to his kids’ sporting events, and working on projects around the house and yard.
Renee Rein
Renee started with Cunningham Insurance LTD in 2023 and brought with her years of experience helping customers. She opened, owned, and operated 3 Whits Frozen Custard locations in Mount Vernon, Pataskala, and Berlin from 2013 to 2022, while also working full time as a traveling sales rep for a licensed Harley Davidson vendor from 2002 until 2018.
Renee’s passions include spending time with family, riding her Harley, camping, working outside in her garden, and serving others. She is looking forward to meeting you!
